Details & description

If you are into watches that are a big value for your money, Certina is the brand you should look into. Founded in 1888 by the Swiss brothers Adolf and Alfred Kurth as a a watchmaking movement and supplies factory they can say they have quite the experience in how to make a watch, so they did 18 years later they made there first timepiece named 'Grana'.

The watches were a success and for the next several years the company continues creating watches under the Grana name while still supplying movements to other watchmakers. Though the brand’s name wasn’t officially changed to Certina until 1955, the name was trademarked in 1928.

The brand produced its first self-winding rotor movement in 1951, like this Certina Blue Ribbon with a beautiful integrated bracelet, automatic movement and a rather classy appearance.

If you see the watch for the first time, it is love at first sight, never ever have I seen an example this rare and good looking, normally this type of finish is found in the higher segments of the market, speaking a Vacheron Contstantin, Patek Philippe.

Everything starts with the attraction you get when seeing an object for the first time. The feeling you get when the shape, colors an design all come together is indescribable. This feeling is essential for us when presenting an object to our audience, we hope you feel the same.

Must read

All the experience we have come from the point of view as a watchmaker, being able to demount a watch from it's baseplate to the little incabloc systems of the watch, gives us the amazing opportunity to know what's good and what not.

To start originality is key for us, buying and encquiring a watch with all original parts gives us the opportunity to restore the piece with respect for the ones who made and designed it.

Once the first step is completed our watchmakers start to service the watch, servicing the movement, changing gaskets, repairing original parts and making sure the history of the watch stays intact and is ready to make new story's with you in it's most optimal shape.

Warranty

Every watch is serviced by our team of watchmakers and comes with a 1 year warranty on it's functionality.

Great service as always.
